Gok Wan hosts awards for women
Gok Wan was chosen to host this year’s Women in Film and Television (WFTV) awards which took place last Friday, the 5th December, at the prestigious Park Lane Hilton.
Gok, ever modest, says he was selected becuase of what he does for women, not his presenting skills!
“I think obviously I champion the female race so I think that’s why they asked me to do it. It’s not because I’m a very good presenter, I can tell you that much, because I’m not, but I’m hoping we’ll get though it.”
“I’m so nervous I can’t even talk I’m so petrified. I was a bit mortified to find out this morning there wasn’t an autocue but I’m sure I’ll be able to wing it some how.”
Aw Gok, don’t worry I’m sure you did just fine!
